Chapter Events

USGBC-NM offers a variety of events and meetings that are open to the public, as described below. View events in List View orCalendar View.  To view events sponsored by other organizations, click Around New Mexico

Monthly Luncheon Programs: Luncheons bring people together to network, hear chapter announcements and a presentation from an expert speaker. Presentations are typically 45-50 minutes plus Q&A, and luncheons are held the first Wednesday of the month at 11:30am.

Monthly Salons: Salons are free, informal roundtable sessions held in the evening. Each salon has a set topic and an invited expert to guide the talk, but there is no formal presentation.

Training Workshops: Half-day and full-day workshops are offered on a variety of green building topics, taught by either local experts or national USGBC trainers.

                                                                       

Courses: Multiple session courses, typically offered 2 hours per week for 4 weeks, are offered on a variety of green building topics, taught by local experts.

 

Green Tie Event: This annual event, held in December, brings together chapter members and others for socializing, networking, and recognition of the year’s accomplishments.

Sustainability Week Events:

 

Greenbuilt Tour: Annual self-guided tour of green homes.

 

Greenbuilt Tour: Annual guided tour of green commercial buildings.

 

Green Central: Annual vendor tradeshow to showcase environmentally friendly products and materials and  allow attendees to learn more about green building.

 

Lectures: Series of lectures and workshops offered during the annual Sustainability Week event.
